Won't work. You have selected tires with a 5" required rim diameter, and 6" rims. Either select 6" tires and those rims, or those tires, and 5" rims.

How would I be able to know what size rim diameter from the tires? is it the number at the end like 4.10x3.50-6 or -5 -4

But do you think the size 7 X 3 for that rim would work?

If wider tires have better traction why arent the front tires just as wide as the back?

Wider tires (especially on the front) are not always better. They can decrease steering efficiency, and increase the effort required. The scrub radius is enlarged, and scrub=friction. Friction costs speed. In addition, a larger tire (in any dimension) increases rotational mass. That makes it harder to both accelerate and decelerate.

You can mount a 6" wide tire on a 7" wide rim, it may take some stretching. While I DO know that it's possible, I do not know what the race guys actually use.

Thanks. The only reason i said the size 7 X 3 rim size when its a 6 inch wide tire is because when I posted a similar question about the tire and rim combo only difference was that the tire was 5 inches wide instead of 6. Anderkart replied by saying to get the 6 X 2.5 size so i figured this tire I want to get is exactly 1.1 inches wider I should get 7 X 3. I guess ill try to send a race karter a private message about the size.
