Will it work ok ?

I have an 11hp briggs that has 1 1/8 shaft. I Can get a sprocket for the shaft, then mount t/c on bracket and chain from motor to it then to axle.
Would just need a 1" shaft for t/c.

So a sprocket on the crank shaft to a JS that has a sprocket and the Driver Unit.
Then another jackshaft that has the Driven Unit and another sprocket. Then the rear axle sprocket.

Seems like it would be fine.

yepp as long as the first ratio is 1:1 it'll work just as it would w/o it.
well it takes up more room, and you'll loose a fraction of the power thanks to the chain and JS bearings but that's neglectable.

Oh the larger the sprockets are, the less wear you'll experience on the chain and sprockets btw.
and since they're always engaged and running... maybe larger is better ;)
(alright maybe not obnoxiously large but rather 30 than 14 teeth I mean ;))
