get a 48cc or 80cc happytime engine, there real cheap and comes with everything. Sprocket, engine, throttle, manual clutch, chain, killswitch ect. U can pick one up for under 150 bucks on ebay. I got one on a pushbike and i can get up to around 30mph. They are a real good n cheap lil engine with quite a lot of power.

Wreckers are the most expensive place to get bike engines. I got a quote for a 2005 GS500f engine with 20,000km on it (with everything to run it) for $1700.
I bought an entire damaged bike with a perfect engine for $1035... And this was an '07 with 9,500km. It also came with at least $1035 of parts which I can sell.

Wreckers are usually massively overpriced for motorbike engines.

its not really a wrecker, the guy who owns it just has it for a hobby and he just has heaps of bike parts and stuff
