I spotted Sparky here just outside of my jobsite. It was a week before I got around to bringing my camera to work. It's been a week since I took the pictures, and he's still there- just hanging around. Looks like he just grabbed one too many conductors and locked on. He'll never do that again! :roflol:
What was really funny, was one day I saw another squirrell come across the wire toward him (the wire that "Sparky here was about to get on), he got about 10 feet away, stopped and looked at his cooked buddy... I swear I heard him say, "oh HE// no!", and turned around and ran full tilt the other way...

Hahaha! Wow. I'm surprised that didn't interrupt power in the area. I wonder how long he'll be hanging out up there...

I was just amazed he didn't explode! Must've been just enough current passing to stop sparky's little ticker and lock him on. Tough to see in the pics but his paws are wrapped around the conductors quite well. I was begging the gods for him to drop every time I saw someone walking on the sidewalk under him. Muahahaha!

Speaking of fried critters, our air conditioner last year suffered a fatal short because a stink bug came into contact with some exposed wires.

I kept looking at him and thinking that if I had a SAFE way to remove him, I'd love to take him to a taxidermist and create a reproduction of the scene. Great conversation starter for the living room. Or perhaps a centrepiece for the diningroom table!!!

Funny thing, that. My wife lets me work on engines in my living room. But she'd absolutely freaking KILL me if I stuck a dead, roasted squirrel on the diningroom table!!!
Next thing you know, I'd be somebody's centrepiece! Oh well- nobody's perfect, I guess!

I would get mantle-piece, but that's just my opinion of where you'd land.

Yeah the pics link didn't have any info, I was kinda hoping to get the story on this thing.
Suppose it might just be someone REALLY good at photoshopping pics.
