The best deal I've EVER posted.

Yes, $450 for a strong running FL250. The guy sent me that photo via text and said it hauls his 200lb butt around very well. Yet again, I'm cursed by my 1/4 acre yard, thin wallet, and full garage.

Great deal for a running Ody. What is that a huge air box? Seat cover are $30 for top and bottom. Looks like an easy restore. Got to love Ody's for what you get. Go Karts ask for more that what he is asking.

Also FL250 parts are dirt cheap on ebay. Lots of parts listed all the time.

Try to buy if you can. You can run Ody's all week long. They just keep going.

Lots of info on how do add rear suspension as well. Almost every mod you can think has been done to the FL250. Hondas glorifeid go kart. The cool thing about Ody's is you can beat the hell out of them. Sure you can bend the axle if you try hard enough. But the J-arms & spindles and frame are rock solid. Way over built and can mosh over anything. The wheels will bend before the spindles and J-Arms give.

Stock Ody's can be pretty fast. You got to mess with the driven to get it to shift better or sooner. I think you change different degree buttons on the driven unit. Ody's use the Salisbury clutch. If it has ES thats a high $ option. There not cheap going for about $300 used.

Just amagine how nice it would be with a new paint job and a whole bunch of elbow grease. I am also starting another Ody. Looks just like the one your looking at.

If your going to go look at let me know. I can give you some Ody tips on what to look for.

From what I can tell from the pic? The wheels still show the gold. Ody's that were stored outside will lose that gold to rust in no time. The rear wheels are starting to show rust but not bad. Also the side Odyssey sticker still shows it blue color well. If left outside that blue fades to white pretty fast. It is missing the parking brake handle and original snorkel as well as headlight. The fading on the foot pan is normal. The front bumper look very good. 90% of the time those are smashed into the tub. The rear fenders look good and they would carry a shine. The frame is powder coat. So if no rust you may get away with a good bath and be fine.

I got $500 in the Ody in the first pic. $800 in total but I ebayed the extra sled parts for $300 back. If you have time to wait out good deals. You can steal fl250 parts of ebay. You could restore that for under $200. You would then have a restored Ody around $650. Plenty enough room to double your money if you ever sold it. Thats how I look at it. No matter how nice your FL250 is they top out at about $1600. The reason is the FL350 start around $2000.

This Ody is hacked up pretty bad. It has been stretched and the stock driven and axle has been removed. $200 is fair but this is a HUGE project.

I would love to get this thing to clean it up and fix up what's not right, but I have no place to keep it and no way to get it home. It's about an hour and a half away. Check out this. It could be a simple fix up but there are no photos. :(

The kart I built was created about .5 mi away. I could have driven it home in 3 mins, yes I live that close to my school. Too bad I'm not going to get that Ody. I could make some money off of it.

I took one look and could see it was stretch in the back. The reason I said huge project? If I was buyng that Ody for $200. I would plan another $300 to get it running safe. Another $300 to get it cherry. I would rather start with a stock ody deal for around $500.

Now thats just me. To the right person this is well worth $200. Just expect a huge project. It looks like they have the ody hubs. I bet they machined the axle and added a sprocket to convert to chain drive. Odys'are not your normal chain drive. They have chains but they are in a reduction unit gear box thingy.

This may sound dumb. But if your looking for a go kart project then buy it. If your looking for an Odyssey then pass :)
