Why do people complain about 2 strokes?

im not sure why yours cost so much or ours is so cheap

im not sure of the life but i dont think they are that bad
intresting point to look into

we have a solar water pump that we drag around the farm to pump from isolated places
its not very fast but its still strong after 8 years in the weather

What a 1 grand power bill

If mine exeeds $200 I'm pissed

I'm living in a normal sized house with 3 people

Ashamed to say but it's true for most
We make no real effort to save power
Use the air con all thur summer and do on

How the heck do you do that. I must admit, being 17 I dont pay anything lol. But I know how much it all costs. My grandma lives alone and would rarely get one even near $200

Id say, as an uneducated guess, lol. If you kept them clean and maintained then they should easily last 20 years. That is assuming the housings theyre in are of high quality and actually protect them. Also, if the clear cover on them faded you would lose power output....should be uv stabilised though?

There isnt really much that will do harm to them apart from the elements and power surges.....or a cricket ball lol....that would do some damage

well u cant buy anything but those power saveing light bulbs
they dont even sell the old ones

i work 6 till 6 so and my house mate is at uni most of the day
come to think of it neither of us is here most week ends so the house is empty omst of the time

so really our power bill isnt that flash

Haha yea that makes sense now. I've got a couple of 100w incandescent's floating around.....ill save those ones haha

There was a really cool house up the road from my place about a year ago, old weatherboard house, roof completely solar panels, diy wind turbine running to a battery bank....And in the shed........AN ULTRALIGHT It was so cool. But they moved, the shed got torn down, the wind turbine came down, and i think some of the panels were removed too
