i have a briggs 5hp and i started the engine and it was running for only 2 min and then the exhaust valve snapped just made the exhaust for it that day i think its a little to short it was 10 1/2
inchs long and i did run the engine for a little while with out an exhaust i did see the exhaust valve was geting red hot when i had the exhaust off but the valve snapped when the exhaust was on
o and the exhaust valve was loose a little bit the stem of the valve is pretty worn too
it is an old valve the engines about 14 years old
so idk but please give advice ???
