Ok so I imagine you told your "Chicken Buddies"you joined a Go Kart forum. and they probably feel like you have cheated on them.
Not to worry it is just a "chick" thing, and they will get over it.

But just as a measure of good will and to "extend the olive branch" so to speak.
Let them know that Kart guys are Chicken people too.
