Which one is Better?

i am considering if i should buy a off road kart, like a yerf dog or something. i don't live near any forested areas that i can ride the yerf dog. but as i started to think the roads near me are not the best. i like speed but also off road. i have a coyote frame go kart with the usual 212cc Predator engine. and like we know those karts are just a couple of inches off the ground and the belly of the kart is always scraping the ground. i am considering selling just the frame so with the money i get from the frame i can buy myself the yerf dog and plop the 212cc on there. i need some advice can you give me some advice please help!!

I don't like mini buggies too much so I'm the wrong guy to give you advice..
I'd stick with the coyote anytime, all the time

So here's a though.. why not put larger wheels on your coyote to gain half an inch to an inch of clearance and see if that's cushioning your ride enough already.
it'll still handle a lot better than a yerf dog
(weighing two to three times as much having very likely an inferior calculated steering setup and weight distribution)

Again, I'm not a fan of full suspenion "go karts" which in fact are mini buggies not karts..
anywhoo terminology aside,
what you really want is a Dingo IMHO, not a yerf dog..
no suspension other than the air filled rubber. <*tim taylor grunt here*>

So yeah..
I would stick with the coyote and try larger wheels
or get a Manco Dingo (likely additionally tbh...)
or maybe as a replacement in case the coyote is no longer "loved"
full suspension on road... NOPE!

but again, I'm not the one who should give you advice on that,
so take it as a biased personal opinion (since it's exactly that)

LOOL, oh boy.. I think you swapped POV in the middle of the sentence..

So if I'm understanding that correctly.. with the current wheels,
you carb is an inch from the wheels,
which is a bit odd but let's just assume you have a non std manfold on there which puts the carb into the "airstream"

And thus you don't think that there's enough room to mount a larger wheel w/o hitting the carb.

that's a two inch increase in wheelsize before you hit the carb..
could work...
but you only gain an inch of ground clearance of course...
back to the original manifold perhaps?

But tbh.. Dingo... I'd be back looking for a Dingo
(which would nicely stay within the canis family of your coyote too )
