which one is better ?? please help.

i have a question about these 2 welders which one is better and which on should i get if i had a choice. They are both made by horbart

the ironman 250 is better, its got a slightly higher duty cycle and a higher max amperage. Both good welders tho.

230, you can't really tone down the 250 for sheet metal and thinner stuff( less volt control on 250, wire feed on 250 can't go all the way to 0). 230 amps will weld just about anything under the sun, if you need more go buy a 600 amp army surplus generator/welder.

kenny, the 250 says 22 guage to 1/2", the 230 says 24 guage to 1/2", big whoop.
