First I apologize if this is in the wrong thread. I don't know which belt to use. You tube shows how/what to measure however not how to apply the information. Torque converter is a comet 20p3 6" 6 5/8 " from center to center. Can any one help me find a chart ?

post a pic of your TC there is no 20p3
And worse series 20 AND series 30 share a 20° cam on the driven (and the cam angle is stamped onto the cam)
So.. chances are you are reading off the cam
where the stamped cam angle (20) could end up right next to the P3 preload hole of the driven tension spring
And thus the confusion is nearly perfect!
(also: both TCs look very much alike, we need to see the inside of the sheaves to tell them apart)
One has two perfectly symmetrical Sheaves (in and out have the same slope angle)
that'd be the series 20
the Other (series 30)
has a nearly perfectly vertical inner sheave and only the outer sheave appears to have an angle
And now for the worst part the only belt that might fit a series 30 with that CtC distance is
203589A
And frankly it might be a hair too large already.. try to increase center to center distance to
6 7/8" if you can
For a series 20 TC
the belt would be a
203578A and you'd have a perfect matching belt length (it's 1/32" shorter...)

Ah an original Torque-A-Verter (TAV2 in your case)
that's a series 30
the correct belt is the 203589A

PS: please derust it as good as you can inside and out, make the sheaves as smooth as possible, degrease all
then dry lube only the drivers clutch bell inside (where the weights are, NOT the sheaves)
make sure the small clover hub is passing through the moveable sheave freely.

Thank you very much, sir. The video is extremely helpful as I didn't want to take anything apart that i can't put back. I'm on a very low budget so anytime I can do things myself helps alot. I ordered the proper belt = more fun. Thanks again !
