I have a Murray explorer go kart. Since I've had it, I've bent 2 axles. The 1st was bent from the previous owner, and the 2nd, a Gopowersports solid 42in steel axle, which bent because I was going 30 mph and one of the pillow block bolts BROKE! This axle was a great axle, but I need something invincible. I'm replacing the bolts with grade 8 bolts. Should I get another solid steel axle, a solid aluminum axle, or a hollow axle?
