:lolgoku: funny title:backtotopic:

I thought I would start a thread dedicated to our DIY areas. After last winter and several ongoing projects my garage/shop became quite cluttered.
With only 2 days off this week and 12 hour work shifts I did manage to do some fall clearing in the garage.

Before: my shelves were random piles of things the family threw on there. Now they hold my toys.
This vid I took a while ago ( talking about putting steel plate on my table) shows some garage clutter.

Now: in pic below is cleaned area. Arranged spaces make for less headache and adds a tiny bit if sanity in my shop.

That is my area of solutide and relaxing. Now let's see yours.... Lmao!

You've seen some pictures of my work area / engine and part storage, I'll upload some more pics later, I sure wish I had a legit shed or barn to do it in, maybe some day

You can tell I go in there and work on this, then work onthat, and of course I'll tinker with that too...... LoL I got tools everywhere, parts, ect...... Everywhere......:thumbsup::lolgoku:

They do fill up quick .
Lol plenty of fun toys there Jim. Looks like you could use some shelves too.

I use to have tools everywhere. I can't do it any more. When I call it a night I out feh took back. Keeps the kids from grabbing it too.

Yep, but that's just part of the toys. Got a 4wheeler out in the back yard, along with another dirt bike. I also have a crossfire kart that I'm in the middle of an engine swap,in my storage, along with another 4 wheeler and couple mini crotch rockets. There's a couple more, but it's been awhile since I have been in there, so I forget....
Yeah, I need shelves...... Lots of them....:lolgoku:
My kids are not allowed in the garage. By special invitation only.... :wai::lolgoku:

Hasn't everyone seen my workspace?

Yep, I'm exactly the same; if there's floor space, something is missing & there's tools everywhere (never did find that 10mm socket...)

I recently erected a 12' x 8' shed to clear some space in the garage, the floor area was almost full the day it went up & the garage is still full...

I put my tools away at the end of each project... I keep things decently organized until then.
Like when i've been fixing my jackshaft... All the same tools have been on the floor of the garage. My dad yells daily...

That's how I do it Sam. When the job is done, the tools get put back.... Until then, they stay where the work is......

True...... Looks like you have the tools to make it happen. Nice space!
Did it all stay dry during those heavy steins a few weeks back?
