Your probably going to laugh at me but i have absolutely no experience at karts. I recently acquired a chassis (Attached) and looked around at seats, engines,etc.. but i have no idea where to begin. Do i get a floor pan? I have 0 idea.:lolgoku:

Thanks,
Andrew

I am new to karting and to this board. I got my first kart chassis the other day too. Check my posted pic.... However I have 20 years of aerospace fabrication experience and my un-educated karting advice would be to do your homework here as I am doing and get the chassis into a rolling chassis first. This is enough work to keep us busy for a while if we do it right the first time.

Your frame is definitely a Tonykart brand. It appears to be their "Rocky EXP" model
like this:--> http://www.tonykart.com/prodotti_telai_rockyexp_en.html but you could send Tonykart your pic and also include any frame number you find to confirm Its model and year built.

If it is their Rocky EXP model, be aware that its a smaller sized racekart model made for kids, and they're a pretty tight squeeze for most adults to fit in...

PS:
After you confirm what year & model of Tonykart you have, I'd suggest you buy the correct spindles, brake caliper, steering-column, floor-pan and bumpers first. Then, you'll find that most all of the other parts you'll need will probably interchange from other brands & models of racekarts.
