Where do I hook up my throttle cable? Is my shaft big enough

This is my first mini bike and I got a it a new motor cause the other one was too weak, its a Baja. Anyways I can figure out where to put the throttle cable an do keep looking at it and I cant find it. I uploaded pictures and hopefully someone has the sane motor. There's a Briggs and straton engine that's similar but that does have a place to put the throttle, also is my shaft long enough for a 3/4 clutch and do I need a base plate, thank you

The shaft is 1 1/4 inch

That looks like my early 90's 5hp B&S engine. The throttle connects to the nylon slotted thing in this pic (see my red circle), i think.

The shaft should be long enough if you use a long bolt in the end of the shaft. Is there a keyway?
