Where can I drive my Cart in Toronto

I built a cart with a 120 hp sportbike motor where can I drive it around Toronto. its far too fast for an actuall go cart track. anywhere I do take it do I need to pass a safety of some sort? There's nothing safe about it..I've already gotten multiple fines and tickets now for driving on private property and the street. If you know of a place Plc link. Thanxs. Also if I drag it what do I need as far as safety

You should try to get written permission to ride on someones land.
Aside from that, I dont think there is any sort of public place to ride gokarts. Thats how it is here, I think about the same up there.

Toystory might know for sure, I rekon he will chime in sooner or later.

Your lucky you still retain ownership as the police could have likely confiscated as it is technically not a motor vehicle if on road way.

If I'm caught again they will, charges were droped on the condition that if I'm caught on a public road again I must forfeit it, so I'm not taking any more chances. I don't think they can confiscate it for a first offense, just impound it.

You never know. The police these days seem to do a lot in the name of public safety.

Why not get a more manageable motor on the thing so you can take it to a proper gokart ring and ride it there?

^^I think even finding a place where you can ride a kart with even a simple briggs is pretty slim? I think the thing to do it so find someone who will let you ride on their land.

Forget about driving it in Toronto. It's not gonna happen. The only shot you have, is private property. The Police can NOT prosecute you for it UNLESS the property owner files the complaint. Ask me how I know... LOL

was talking to guys that race track bikes and they said I could take this to Cayuga for sure. I hope their right! I don't want this again:

See I told ya, why tempt fate on this. Im glad you lived to tell the tale though.

It also seems that tires are the lease of your worries.
Traffic violations of any kind reflect to your drivers license, including those of a gokart(that is if you have one yet), none the less when you renew it, or when you get a job it just causes more problem down range.

But seriously i was tearing it up in a residential street for 2 minutes and some a**hole called the popo while everyone else was enjoying the show. I got it back 150$ for impound, got 7 tickets for off road vehicle on highway, no insurance , no plate, no lights, etc like 1000$ worth. Am fighting them but prob won't get the no insurance one reduced
