I seem to be having trouble finding a place to get wheels on the cheap, I have a 1 inch live axle. I found that I could get them from Northern Tool for $50 each but I really want to try to find some cheaper ones. Any suggestions?

There's dozens of different types and variations of wheels used on 1" go kart axles. We could help you a lot more if you posted more details about which type you need...
There's lots of different styles, width's and diameters of go kart rims. Also, some just have one hole in the middle for a single axle-nut to hold on, and then some others have 3, 4 or more bolt holes just like a car rim.
To further complicate things: some members of our forum actual mean tires when they refer to "wheels", some other people mean just rims, and then some others mean tires already mounted on a rim.
