Wheelie bar

Hey guys the other day I seen a vid on you tube of a 400cc go kart with 21 pounds of tourqe doing wheelies and my go kart will be 600cc with 43 pounds and I dont want to be doing backflips and I had a idea I could have a solid wheelie bar is this a good idea or a accident waiting to happen

weight your kart down at the front and it wont do wheelies

from what I have seen, big fun !!
IIRC it's a gx390 with only minor mods and a series 40 TC,
can't remember what gear ratio he runs though.

if you want to avoid flipping it; gear higher than him.. that way you'll loose torque (take off) and gain top speed in return.

with a bit of search you should find the exact kats specs.. or maybe he'll show up and tell you what his setup is exactly.

A wheelie bar will just add weight and slow u down

Why dont dump trucks do wheelies when thet have closer to 10'000 ft/lb

Am running 6:1 on 18" tires with 40 series, no mods to engine.

If you notice, the kart is very light and the engine's center of gravity is behind the axle. It won't do wheelies when I drive it since I weigh 210 lbs.
