wheel wobble

what is the most common cause of wheel wobble. both of my karts left rear wheels wobble. is it the axle or the wheel itself?

Place the kart on a jack of some sort, turn the rear axle and stair straight down the length of the axle, if the axles moves it is bent. If not then it is just the wheel. Usually they bend together.
