Can't get any easier than the interwebz, dude. So many free websites to browse.
You need a 5" rim/wheel. Start shoppin'!

Perhaps I should have been more specific.

For anybody else wondering, I found an answer on the BMIkarts website. Here's what I found for the 11" turf tire:

Azusalite (plastic) rims are about $138

So the steel route is about 25% cheaper.

These were the only two options I found in my research. There are more expensive aluminum Azusalite rims, but I was looking for cheapest, so I didn't bother looking too closely at those. If anybody knows of other options I'd love to hear about them.

Specific is always best. The question was not guaranteed to give you an answer, at least not quickly since most people here are lucky enough to have usable wheels and rims with the go kart frame they acquired. You're just not going to have a glut of people rush in to tell you what the cheapest tire and wheel bargain is.

Glad you did it yourself. That sounds like a great name for a site such as this. Do It Yourself. :D

P.S. You're kind of limiting yourself if you're just shopping on BMI. Tons of other places (Amazon, ebay) that are often more competitive. Just an FYI.

The 11" tire is the tire I want to use for a few reasons.

First, I was told that I should keep tires to <13" if I didn't plan on using a torque converter for my application (lightweight kart, mostly on road, a little flat grass/gravel).

Second, aesthetically I prefer this tire size and profile as it makes me think of older yard karts.

Third, I also want to limit grip.

I would consider 6" wheels if I could find an 11" tire for them. Do you know any? I know where to find car and motorcycle tires, but I've never been in the yard kart/hand truck/golf cart/lawn mower market.

I'm all for doing it myself, but when I search something for a week and keep coming up with the same answer, I figured I should ask the more experienced people on the forum. I expected to find more help and less condescension.

I do appreciate this advice. I wasn't looking for "bargain basement" prices this time around as it is my first experience. When I asked for cheapest combo, I meant more big picture (steel hubs/wheels vs nylon wheels) than chasing the last $.49. Again, I could have been more specific.

The people at BMI have been the most helpful by far. Until I know what I'm doing I'll buy from the people who can help me with stupid questions.
