So I recently picked up a Yerf Dog 3203 and I want to make it fun. It currently has 8" live axle wheels on 20x10.00-8 tires but I was wondering if I can just slap on some 6" live axle wheels with the same 1in axle hole to make it easier to find slicks. Everywhere I've been has slick tires for a 6in rim but not 8in

I don’t see why not, as long as the sprocket isn’t bigger than the wheel, if your going to put on smaller wheels you might be able to gear up.

I like the idea, it would probably be really fun having a yerf low to the ground!! Let’s see some pictures when you complete!

What he said. Sprockets have to have some clearance.

can be found rather easily...
so in case you'd rather stick with 8" rims... there you go

(it's still smaller than your current 20" wheel)
