Hey everyone.

I am planning to take my kart to the track but I want to align the wheels correctly. I don't have the funds for laser alignment technology but I have a levelling laser from my dads work shop. It is abit big though.

Are there an other methods to align the wheels correctly and effectively. I am really looking for a method which I will be able to do on my own and easily replicate the alignment at the track, as my family are not so keen on my racing and are highly unsupportive.

I will probably end up doing this every time because I always have to remove the wheels to get my kart into my Honda Civic. Which is a pain and hassle lifting a kart on my own. If I ever earn some cash from this then i will buy a van or trailer but the future looks highly uncertain and difficult as the UK Tornament Karting scene is loaded with people who have endless amounts of money and can buy new sets of tires for almost all races ...

Anderkart may be able to answer this for you.

What I do not understand is why you would have to do this every time. Once the geometry is set up, removing and replacing the wheels should not affect it- at least in no way that I can possibly dream up. And- can you get or build a little utility trailer? Surely, it's preferable to trying to stuff your kart into a Honda.

I thought that sounded a little weird. I have no race go kart experience, but I know my way around the automotive world. Since one is just a scaled-down version of the other, I just could not see how it could be. Thanks for verifying my thoughts!
