Expensive fuel..

I use VP fuel in all my mini's and karts..
They always start and run super with 110..the crummy pump gas gums up carbs and I got sick of cleaning tubes and jets when the Grandkids want to ride the minis after sitting idle for awhile . I'd rather spend that time with them having fun. It gets hot out here in Phoenix in the shop and the carbs gum up quick. All of my Karts need it for optimum performance. IE: Lo206 briggs, West Bend 820 ,Briggs Raptor...they love 110.The amount of gas they use is very minimal and so the extra cost is also minimal. Easy to keep a 5-gallon can around of VP racing gas. Not trying to be a smart aleck, I recommend it. Mark

Try non ethanol pump gas. I’ve never had any carb problems with it. And to help keep the carbs from gumming up try turning off the gas before the carb and leave the engine running until it runs out of gas. That leaves almost no gas in the carb. I do this in all of my engines and I haven’t had problems with carburetors since I started.

I run a lot of VP fuel also when I can. It does run run cleaner and the fuel ratio is always a lot more consistent as well. I ran the q16 in my mini dragbike and it absolutely loved it. Ran mid 10’s in the 1/8 with a 2.06 60’
