You know... I use to know someone who worked in a cremation center. SHE, yes SHE. was in her 30s. and had a necrophilia thing going on... I would say besides that being a possibility with a boyfriend or something. it may be a family member not ready to let go.. or simply she's been misplaced... IT does happen...

How could she be misplaced? She was in the coffin and then she wasn't. Weird
I mean maybe someone messed up and sent her off for cremation early. and didn't sign some paper work, so now they don't know her ashes lay somewhere nameless, or misnamed.

There was a case here in Michigan a couple of year's ago where, thru reasons that never made any sense, someone's body got picked up from a funeral home by the trash company, and taken to one of the main dump's in the region.
They never did recover it, and the dump is now listed as their final resting place.......

Funeral homes ar well known for reusing coffins... especially expensive ones that are to be cremated...
