My name is Rene and son is Nick. Want to start off by sayin, Great info on this site. Lurked around for a lil bfore I decided a go kart would make a great father and son project. We have a Jeep XJ build for rockcrawling,trail runnin and some dirt bikes but he doesn't like dirt bikes like big brother and dad. Buddy has a Baja 150 so i asked if he drive it and after nick wanted one so I picked up a Baja w no motor. I have a 9hp clone for it and goin from there. Thanks for ur time.

I think you will find this thread right up your alley. I think it is a baha with 11hp clone. Some of the thread may have been lost in the crash last month. Perhaps it will save you some time.

Here's a pic of it. A buddy gave me $400 and the buggy for my old quad, everything is there but the motor. Plan is 9hp w/ torque converter, a GM 1 wire alt and a 51 series battery.
