Pulled out my son's old Klipper Kart the other day. It's been taking up space and hasn't been run for maybe 12-15 years. Put in a new plug. Emptied the old fuel. Ran through some mechanic in a bottle. Filled it up and started on the first pull. Crazy. It's got a considerable amount of surface rust on the floor board and some on the roll bar. Tires are good and it runs. Looking to sell but no idea what it's worth. Sitting in Omaha, Nebraska.

I don't what there worth but I wouldn't pay much more than $200. Maybe list it for like $225 and see if anyone buys it.

Ditto.
Years of outdoor storage has not been kind to it. Tarp that sucker!

Why not fix the rust, remove the cage, hop-up the engine and join in the fun?

I flip karts all the time in St. Louis.
If it were mine, I'd clean it up real good and make sure everything works as it should. For the floor, go to Lowes and buy some rubber floor runner. It's 36" wide and sells by the foot. Glue it on the floorboard and it will look great. In St. Louis, I sell karts like that for $400 - $500 pretty easily.

Thanks for great advice. I was at Menards and picked up runner for $1.29 a foot and they had a 4 pack of contractors adhesive for $.99 after rebate. I put some Rust-Oleum rust reformer on first to keep it from getting worse under the runner. Needs a little more cleaning but starting to look like something I'd want to keep if I wasn't an old guy🤗

update

cleaned up the seat, polished it...and sold it for $390 in a few hours on Craigslist in Omaha. Had to disappoint a lot more buyers than I expected.

Thanks for all the help.

OK. Now get another one, fix it and flip it! Keeps the karts from a landfil and you make a lot of kids happy! Just price it higher next time!!!
