Is your 9t a cent clutch or a torque converter? You will have to also give us the diameter of your tyres to work out what the speed difference will be between the two ratios.

Edit: You could then use these links to see what the difference would be:

You will have less speed and more torque, and less ground clearance! You would be better off going 9t to 72t

First question is "why?". What are you hoping to achieve?

set up is stock i just see alot of yall telling people to go 10t with 80t or bigger with 12inch tires.....im changing my axle so if it would be a better all around improvement then stock set up

10T is often recommended because it is so common, and a low number that lends itself well to lower gear ratios. As far as the axle sprocket goes, depends on tire diameter, weight, terrain, and driving style. If you have a 9T, keep it. There's no sense in changing it to a 10T if you're planning on gearing down.

When you say, "12 inch tires", do you mean 12" rims or actual tire height- big difference...
