I think just the tav woud make a wheelie machine . I have a baja mini bike with a tav and stockish predator and that thing will wheelie with me no problem and scares the crap out of my fatter buddies I weigh 240 lbs. Hi rpms and tavs don't mix they start to slip after a while. I have a racing clutch on my high rpm predator .

I've read about them slipping at high rpm, I intend to leave the final gear ratio as is. Would it still be prone to slip with that much mechanical advantage? Also, from what I've been reading, as the % of nitro goes up, the power moves down in the rpm range, so it may end up being a non issue.

:roflol::roflol::roflol:.....Now that you're outnumbered.....you're not from the "Land of Fruits and Nuts" ....but ...."So Cal"....

You really think having a couple of more is getting you off the hook?:lolgoku:

Clearly San Francisco in Northern California is the epicenter of fruiths and nuts. I changed location to So Cal to stand in solidarity with the victims of recent "man caused Disasters" in San Bernadino.

I'm also over 6ft tall and yes I was surprised when my buddy who is bigger than me in width (lol) almost flipped the bike . The tav would probably go like 45 for top speed with a ton of low end wheelie power. With the tav I do notice less top end but its fine for me since that is my off road bike.I hit about 6000 rpms on my baja warrior type mini bike with a predator 18 lb springs, 90 jet and header. It tops out in the low to mid 40s. My doodle bug hits around 60 to 70 mph but it has a clutch

I stand corrected, but the fact YOU are in So Cal ,doesn't solidify that statement....:lolgoku:

Come on guys I'm like you I like Monster Trucks too, Want to see how many push-ups I can do? I'm not queer I'm too ugly ,And I don't shave my heiny. The only smoked meat the only sausage I would eat is made by Jimmy Dean! Anyway if I were gay I'd have to change my name to Doug or Gordon.

Let my cousin ride the bug, I had the video rolling when he came back, but I can't post it on a family friendly forum to to the words he used to describe it. He seemed impressed, lol. If you want to see the video it's on my youtube, but I won't post it here.

Lol nice...

my doodle bug needs some work and some more parts before it will run again. It looks pretty much stock with a 24 mm mikuni carb and straight pipe. And I don't need to worry about a wheelie bar like most guys with similar setups because I'm heavy :cornut:

Did some ripping around on it this weekend and finished up the gallon of 15%. I think I'm going to do a few things to it and step up to 30%. I let my friend bubba ride it, and got his reaction on tape. He actually didn't use any swear words (unusual for Bubba) and he was pretty impressed. He told me later that he was shocked at how it would pull
You off the back of the seat if you're not ready for it. I'm sure I'll blow it up any day now, but that thing is running like a champ so far. We'll se how it likes 30%.

No more R/C fuel. I took a little road trip today and made it back home with 10
Gallons of un diluted CH3N02 (Nitromethane)

Also made it home with a complete M21 and V-gate, but that's another story.

That's not a bad idea at all. I've been thinking about ripping it apart for a billet rod and flywheel anyway. I haven't been messing with this lately as I've been working on my race car in my spare time.

Got a new rear tire and a gallon of methanol for the Nitrobug. If I have any spare time this weekend it's going to 30%. Any bets on whether it'll live or not?
