What will break first?

I will be taking my go kart up north for a few days of hard karting. I recently coverted my kart to a live axle, and so far it has worked great, but I am scared that something will brake on one of the longer runs. I already cleaned my TAV2. The motor is in good shape. What do you do to prepare your kart for hard riding?

Also, what do you bring with you on long kart rides? I was thinking of bringing my cell phone, and my Allen wrench set.

id say take a good amount of money with you, your phone and allen wrenches and a ten mill socket, id say to take with you up north but not on your kart ride a nice tire pump and jump start box, some good gas, oil and a change of clothes

Don't forget a spare BELT!!! Tire repair/tube/pump maybe a few tires.....

Don't have a spare belt, unfortunately. However, this torque converter is only a few months old and the belt appears to have minimal wear. How long do they generally last?

also FIX-a-FLAT. and a bike pump. duct-tape. wd-40. some snacks.(incase you have to sit awhile)

If you're going to the middle of nowhere, don't forget lots of water. And if you're riding very far from your car and/or in the middle of nowhere a gps or at the very least a map and compass.

But I'd say a few extra nuts and bolts, washers that fit them, tool to remove broken studs/bolts... electrical tape is always good to have, and duct tape. Extra gas. All the tools you could need to strip your kart down, some way to take care of flat tires, some way to fix bent parts if you need it (like one of those mini oxy-propane torches, or a big rock) some of the liquid gasket stuff and an oil change, oil/grease for lube, spare air filter depending on what you're riding in.

and a lighter and (hair spray i think?) to re seat tires on the rim.(if the bead breaks) and also to start a fire(if needed) a light.

also sence ur already bringen like evrything LOL you will probably need a trailer so bring a portable welder. then you will have no worries

A always bring locktite, liquid gasket, fix-a-flat, crecent wrench, and a flat screwdriver. But it all depends on where exactly you are if your miles for the nearest source of gas then bring gas if your in a city then don't. So whAt I recommend is bringing what suits the environment you will be in.

We will be at the deer camp. There are alot of two tracks and trails and roads around that I like to drive away. I am itching to go mudding too to "test" out my new live axle.

Along with my Allen key set, I need to find a small adjustable wrench that I can keep in my kart. I ought to build a little box that I can carry stuff around in. I remember I davidsfarm had one that looked nice for transporting beer and garbage picks. I have to take a look and see if I can find his old kart videos.

An old ammo can may work well for carrying stuff, and if you really wanted to you could weld it straight to your frame

Ok, so for my 45minute ride through the woods, I'll bring my Allen wrenches, phone, Ten millimeter socket, spare belt, fix a flat, bike pumps (two in case one breaks), duct tape, WD-40, Lots of snacks, a few gallon jugs of water, a GPS, bolts, nuts, washers, a big gas can, SAE 30 oil, a torch, hairspray, matches, my 20 gauge shotgun loaded with buckshot ('cause I don't have a handgun), a welder, locktite, an old, ammo box to put it all in, and a trailer to fit the rest.

But in a more serious tone, I would get an ammo can for the tools as they are secure and water tight. I would toss in a small socket set. I have a cheapie (1/4" drive) that is maybe 4x7". 2 crescent wrenches, a few extra nuts and bolts, a hex key to fit your locking collars, phone (GPS enabled is a plus!), slime, duct tape, food, water, gas, locktite, oil, zipties, and your gun. Most of this could fit into an average ammo can.

Pick your caliber. I'd go for .50 or 40mm personally!
