Hey man, how do I rig up a kill switch?

Here's a super easy cheap kill switch.
First find a thin length of rope.
Next, tie one end to the boot of your spark plug, and tie the other end around your neck so you'll know right where it is.

When you need to stop, just yank the rope, and pull the boot off your plug.

This will also stop the engine should you fall or go flying off your Kart.

I agree but maybe make it an all inclusive... Go kart electrical thread. Kill / start switch , lights, charging, starters, and cigarette lighters .

Yes, but it's a red hot coil instead.. So you don't have to stop the kart to light up. a set of these might be fun... On Sale 9.99

I once heard a story, (probably an old wives tale) about someone who put a rack of Santa Fe's on his big truck, and neglected a little pluming.
