I was taking out the trash when I noticed this:

The coin is a US quarter I put there for scale....the craters are from recent rain and the tracks were no doubt made when the sand was very soft....

I'm leaning towards two earthworms....but there's something funny about the pattern that doesn't add up 100%......It kinda looks like it may have been back and forth.....

Any ideas out there?

It could be from slugs..... I got tracks everywhere right now from them..... I'll post a pic after work....

No.....those usually leave a pretty good sized blood splatter......Oh....wait....nevermind.....I didn't say that......:rolleyes:

But I highly doubt slugs....those are very narrow lines....1/8" wide max....

IMHO it is the drainage of the rain. If you notice the 2nd pic you can see it come from the crack.
Also I can't image a pair of anything( like slugs, worms, or snakes) really traveling together.
