Now that is something I haven't seen before.... hooking up both ends of the carb to the cylinders. Maybe he is trying to compress the air before it enters the carb? LOL

Wow... This just in, from the seller-

"Yes I have had it running it works perfectly. Although I can't make it run just sitting there (as far as i know) but I can turn the starter and move the pisons."

That's a single cylinder engine made by Hensim, the back jug is just for looks and has an air cleaner inside.

Holy Spit! Never woulda believed it if I didn't see it! Nice catch, Eric! Jeez! Now that you mention it, very close scrutiny of both cylinder heads tells the tale... Wow.

That still doesn't detract from the fact that he's selling it as a 200cc twin, though.

I really had thought that some idiotstick had tried to swap on a Mikuni with no prior engine knowledge. Gotta admit it looks that way! Fine then-

Yeah that's a bizarre engine, I'm thinking it probably has a 200cc. oil-capacity label next to its oil fill cap, and your Kijiji seller is just assuming that's the engines displacement...

If you compare the diamiter of the throttle cable to the carb in the Kijiji pics, you can tell that carb is very small just like you'd expect on a 50cc engine. That Kijiji pic that shows his hand gives further reference that engine is actually much smaller than his other pics might suggest.

Am I missing the point? What is so surprising about the carb hooked up to both cylinders?

The only thing I can think of is that it doesnt have an air filter....Maybe it should just have twin carbs

It "looked" like there was no air intake at all. If one cylinder was pulling out of one side and the other one out of the other side...where would the air actually come IN at. It would be like two people sucking on opposite ends of the same straw.

i also noticed that one of the cylinders has no spark plug. and the side that has no spark plug is hooked up to the carb with what looks like it was just slid on to the carb
