Odd. Never had these problems and I was a skinny azn boi freshmen year. But we grew up in different societies.
Just go talk to her in person. She gets pissy, you don't. Act mature and walk away. If she still pursues you, find out her parents and talk to them. Always carry around a camcorder or voice recorder as evidence (winning.) - use the texts as evidence of your attempts of reconciliation and her ignorance lol.
"Stage 2" - Parents don't do anything, and she continues to harass you, file charges for harassment and assault. Assault charges doesn't actually include physical contact, but fear of it. If anyone puts a hand on you, file battery charges.
Obviously, "stage 2" is last choice. You'll have a hell of a time in court proving yourself against a lot of people who'll stand next to each other, but the threat of such charges may prevail in situations like this.
Also, if the school doesn't give a **** about it, and this problem keeps developing, start collecting evidence to sue the school for endangerment and "reckless disregard" for safety. You got a thousand ways out.
Off topic - Goodness, I have to say, there is a huge difference in schools with above-middle class families.
