whats wrong with mini moto?

whats wrong with go ped?

an easy build would be to mount a bike peg to a weedeater engine and bracket it against the rear tire, thus friction drive.

a bit more complicated would involve an actual drive line, requires sprockets, chain, jackshaft, and sometimes clutch (no clutch= no idle + bump starts)

You could build one of those weird kart things from Nacho Libre. I tried to find a pic but this **** school blocks everyother google image result.

Postie bikes are 110cc

When I was your age I built an electric scooter using a motorbike battery, a 44w motor I got from a photocopier, an old scooter and ALOT of duct tape :roflol: it was the slowest thing in the world, didn't go much faster than walking pace but hey, I built it! Best of all, I didn't need any tools. You can do anything with duct tape!

You could build a downhill go kart, just nail some wood together, simple cantilever steering, you can use the axles and wheels from a pram or lawnmower. You don't need brakes, most prams have them though. Nice simple project, you don't need to many tools ect.

Thanks

Hayden

How about a weedeater engine, four little dolly wheels and a few other bits all put together to make...

...A remote control scale go kart!

Yeah. I never said it would be a toss together... The electronics are easy. It's all plug-n-play. Battery would be a small gel cell to run the reciever and servos. Need a weedeater with a clutch, or a chainsaw. It is something I've thought about doing!

Hmm, ive got a friend that I was gonna help make a chainsaw powered bike. Mabe that would be a better use for the chainsaw:idea2:

fowler, have you seen the Mythbusters episode where they make a sail boat and use duct tape for the skin of the hull and the sail?
