Today I ran into a personal brick wall. A battle with my own mind. I've never been so unsure of something in my own life. I began to think about what I'm doing with my life, and realized nothing, nothing that's doing anything for anyone. I began to think about the future and realized I don't know what I want to do with my life, not the slightest clue. I don't know how to explain it, I guess to put it short, I'm lost.

Hmm... well if you'd care to share more details, I imagine peoples' take on your situation could help vastly more than some generic life quotes.

neither did I at your age. Piss ed me off in the 10thgrade they had us go into meet with the school counselor and sign up for classes to put on us the right carreer path. I had no clue what I wanted to do. I never did exaclyt figure it out. At age 28 I got a job installing Heat and Air Cond. When I got my first pay check I could not even believe they were paying me to do what I do for fun on Weekends, Fix up houses. 14 years later I still work on AC and love my job. Whatever you do for work, do something you enjoy and your life will be good.
I had had other good jobs but they were more like well a job.
At your age do not worry about it.

Here's the thing..
I totally knew what I wanted to do...
set up all my classes right, signed in at the university.. studied for a couple of years...

And now? I do something completely different, not even closely related.

whatever you do for work, as long as you're enjoying it you'll be fine.
