Sorry but, you seem to be going from bad to worse...

First, you buy a kart that no one in their right mind would separate for parts, then you buy an old race kart for the axle... but... it doesn't seem to have an axle

Ok, it came with an axle but, do the wheel hubs fit the axle?

The little cart was an impulse buy, I have the axel, too. I like the Dingo and will focus on cleaning that up. I kept on of the ads for the dingo (it was literally an image of the side of the tire and thats it, no kart) and the seller was deep into the sticks. The carb should be here tomorrow or Monday for the Briggs. That will be my primary focus for now. Im just deciding weather to clean it up and and get it going, or restore it (new upholstery / cables / fasteners / powder coat). Its all degreased and wire brushed. The engine I may leave governed. I want it up and running but don't want to put much more effort than what its worth. I want to have some fun with it, but cant imagine its a long term keeper. Mainly because of size, HOA and my sons got years before he can reach. I guess I was having some difficulty determining the overall value. I can have it cranking for under $250 entire investment + labor. I will likely go that route since they appear to be available for around $500. I bet I will go out riding with it, and love it. We shall see..

The other cart was impulsive. Needs bearings for the axel, will strip it, paint it and decide from there if I want my son whipping it around.
