I have finally built up enough information and cash to build my own go kart. (YAY! ) and i just need one last thing from you guys. I am 6' and still growing, and roughly 75-80kg and still growing. what size steel should I use? keeping in mind Dad and my brother will be riding it too and they both are 6'+ and around 100kg.

I assume you're building a regular kart,no suspension or atv engine. 1"X.065 or .095 would be plenty fine. Its what the majority of us use. If you are concerned with weight, just beef it up as you go. That little tubing is pretty darn strong, and when you design right, it could be unstoppable. ...Just remember, triangles are your friend when building a kart. Helps keep it all from just folding in on itself.
