what size front sprocket?

hi all :thumbsup:

im trying to find out what size front sprocket is best for top end power? i have a 15t front atm. what is best for longer gearing? i have loads of bottom end power so want to make my gears last longer so do i go for a larger sprocket? or a smaller one?

More teeth=More torque. So a 50t will give you more speed but less torque while a 70t will give you more tq but less speed.

That's only on the driven sprocket. It's the opposite for the driving sprocket.

If you want MORE TOP SPEED then you should put a SMALLER sprocket on the ENGINE

If you want torque get a smaller engine sprocket, if you wan more speed get a bigger one. You got it reversed there.
