The title summarizes it. I have bought three different bolts for the crankcase cover to use to mount the t/c to it. Does anyone know the size? And what is the size to the thread inside the crankshaft? Thanks guys!

What engine is it first of all ?
does it matter?

the bolts are always metric (M8)
pockets are 16mm deep and take usually a M8x20 bolt (1.25 pitched)
which is std metric threadpitch for M8

uhm.. we talk about the 54mm spaced square arranged boltholes round the crankshaft, right?

Oh wait, you're right; it DOES matter..
the predator is an exception it is tapped 5/16" 24UNF on a 92mm bhc

that depends indeed on the crankshaft size..
if we talk 3/4" then it's again a 5/16" 24UNF
(I think that holds true for the 1" shaft engines but that might be 7/16" 20UNF *shrugs*)

if we talk 18-22mm metric shafts it'll be again an M8 1.25 pitch
(I think that also is true for 25mm shafts but don't quote me on that)
