What Should I Expect?

There is a racing course about 40 min north of me. The owner is now running B&S Animal engines. He has a few of his previous engines for sale. They are B&S 5 1/2 Raptor 3 engines. What can anyone tell me about these engines ( power, ease of part locating, maintenance ) but mostly what should I expect to shell out for one of these in used running condition?

The raptor 3 was basically a briggs 5 hp flathed with a better connecting rod and exhaust springs on both vales(lets it rev to 6000rpm). I'm pretty sure they had some other goodies, but that's the big stuff.
