What oil to use...

Wondering what the best oil to use for this engine would be? I'm going to change the oil this weekend and not sure what to pick up. From what I've read, 10w30.

Would that be the best to throw in it? (Also, is there a certain plug that is better than others? Or would the champion spark plug from the parts store be fine?)

10w30 Dino oil and just a regular spark plug works great in that motor.

Because as my High School Auto Shop teacher used to say:
"People a lot smarter than you and me write those things".
Another thing - you're already online. Do a little research instead of asking someone else to give you the answer.
It's not that hard.

I put that exact same engine on a former electric golf cart, she pulled like a beast for the size and age.

Right. If you don't have clean oil it leaves little black flecks on your Fries.

I did look it up online and found some info on it. I was just asking for some input to see what other people like to use or recommend.

Ok, it came off more snarky than I intended, but - the manual is online.
Why would you think anyone here has more experience or knowledge than the people who built it?
