You might have to modify a chain tensioner. I got the same situation.

This was one of Yerfdogs first karts. Find out what year the company started and you will be close.

Do a search on in this forum. Lots of info on this kart and the steering problems. This kart was recalled by Yerfdog for steering problems. This is an Unsafe kart for any speed at all. Post a pic of your spindles please.
