the orange color my be influencing me, but I wonder if it is an old Sears kart. Take a look at this ebay listing, there are some similarities:

Anyway, I see some resemblance, but I also see enough difference to suggest maybe not. Cool, though- I had no idea Sears sold karts. Neat!

That one is a "racing kart". Sears used to sell go-karts and mini-bikes from their catalogs, they were pretty cool, orange in color.
