I found his go kart the other day and have never seen one like it, so I bought it for my kid for 200 bucks. I couldn't find anything like it on line. Could anyone tell me any information about it.

Could you take a few more pictures for me? From the rear of the kart where the engine sets, and perhaps the side view.

I'll get some more posted tomorrow. Someone put a newer 3.5hp briggs on it but I'm guessing it's maybe from the 60's.

Robert tells me that is a Bird Mfg Go-Kart. They were made in the early 70's, he thinks they were called a dune styled kart for the body style. That should help you.

I don't think it's a rupp. They only made 2 models chevy jr and a monza ss and they don't look like mine, but they are similar. tomorrow I will post more pics. It's a really cool kart and it's is good shape, I think my boy and I will give it a good overhaul'n. Good father son project. My 100hp hammerhead is a bit to much for him so he can drive this one for a while.

Yeah, I saw he did that... I figured he would click on my link and realize his mistake. Perhaps I should label everything from now on so these things don't happen.

Yea 100hp hammerhead. 583 rotax and a gearbox off a
Polaris scrambler fnr high low. It will smoke the tires on pavement with two adults in it. Its quick!
