First of all this may be in the wrong area but it's worth a try. I want to do a setup where I have a centrifugal clutch connected to a jack stand with a three speed sprocket to the actual live axle. I would have a derailleur on the three speed sprocket. I just have no idea what to use for a "transmission". Help?

do u mean u have three sprockets next to each other like a bike or do u have a speical gear box?

a bike setup wont work on karts
the chain we use wont flex enough and bike chain will snap

the three sprockets i have are so consolidated that they're less than an inch apart all together.

Honestly, unless you score huge on a low-buck junkyard find and have the skills to make it work, forget it. Options are pretty limited, and most of them are not cheap.

similar to them. see i want to run a chain from a centrifugal clutch on the crank to a jackshaft. on that jackshaft i want two or three differnet sized sprockets with a derailer on the apparatus to act as a shifter LIKE on a bike, and run that one chain to the actual live axle with one set sized sprocket.

ride your bike up a steep hill and try to change gear

now imageing that with a chain the wont flex with 4x more force and the whole system spinning at 2000rpm

The only design I could see that would be similar would be multiple sprockets on the js and axle, that have a spring belt tensioner so you could stop and change the gearing by releasing the tensioner.
You could also use or make a multiple speed belt tensioner.
