Hi! I got my second go kart after a while and I am trying to determine what make and model it is. I have scoured the internet for a while and still cannot find an answer. Please help me!! Since taking this picture, I cut the top roll bar off the engine to fit a Predator 212 on it, the old engine was kinda shot and the carb mounting screws came out mid ride :( the new engine rips though :)yeaj.jpg

All that matters is that it's a go kart, which you have already torn into with your hacksaw destroying part of it in the process. I find it amusing that you didn't even wait for an answer before hacking it up. What if it was worth $10K in as-found condition? :sneaky: That cage over the engine was the best part, I mean it was sorta fancy and probably added some frame stiffness which is never a bad thing on a kart.

Looks partly home built especially the rear.

Agreed, and since that might be a home hack job of an existing frame, one measly photo rarely suffices. It's like "oh it looks sorta like a ____ but I need to see the other side".

Did you take off the air cleaner before snapping the photo? I see that all across the interwebz: missing air cleaners, like it was going out of style. The beauty of the Briggs 13 series is they just fit into a smaller footprint.

yeah I took off the air filter to get it running, the carb was ultra dirty and the gas that was in it was orange! I didnt want to take it off but it vibrated so bad and also kinda self deconstructed (i guess i didnt tighten the carb screws all the way) but luckily I was very close to home. I did like the cage but unfortunately the predator didnt fit right so it had to come off :( I do think it was a custom engine tho, from what Gemini said it wasnt a stock engine so i dont really know fully lol, Im still new to karting, been wanting one since I was little and now I got money and time

Very cool looking kart! That has some serious potential. Simple, live axle and small tires. Could be a real ripper with the right HP.
