well its defiantly a tecumseh but the model is hard to find on google XD. The model number should be on the metal casing on the engine. Just look all over the engine for a code, once u find it, write it down and when u go to the engine shop they will know what u have.

Just to show u its a tecumseh this is a tecumseh 7hp, http://www.builderdepot.com/browse.ihtml?pid=722119&step=5&prodstoreid=2600

It could be a tecumseh HM80 but im not certain. Hope that helps ya a bit.

Its always good to have scrap engines in the back of the shed too, i got 2 scrap engines that i steal nuts, bolts, heads, valves, springs, lifters, cams, carburetors, fuel tanks ect. off. Tecumseh is not very popular so its hard to have spares, briggs are everywhere so its easy to find scrap engines and parts. Lawnmower shops will have parts or can order em in but the internet is mostly always cheaper.
