It's a whatsit...

Looks like a microswitch but I might be wrong.

What engine is that?
Great close up pics but could you post a more zoomed out shot. Hard to tell where your at?

Its a honda GC160 , your looking at Part # 35120-ZL8-003 engine stop switch.

Checked out that part on the web and it sure looks like it , thanks! The stop switch on the bar does in fact stop the engine and this is disconnected. I'm wondering how the previous owner has it hooked up then?

Yes it looks to be a Honda GC160.......no stickers on it to identify it.

The GC160 has its exhaust pointing towards the back of the riders head. How are you handling that?

It's on a mini bike so it's not to bad. I'm on the hunt now for a GX160 or Predator etc style. Or maybe mod the muffler so it faces to the rear.
