I just bought a 13 model Hammerhead GTS 150 fixer upper. There is a hose that I'm not sure what it is or where to connect it. This is on the driver side.

that aluminium box on the lower end of said tube is
(or appears to me as..) a mikuni-style pulse pump (a fuel pump)

And with that, one tube ON THE SIDE (usually the one with the fuel filter) goes towards the tank
another one ON THE OTHER SIDE goes towards the carburetor
and the third ON TOP AS DEPICTED goes towards the carb's manifold to get a vacuum signal.

Yours obviously has a fuel filter installed (on the upper end in the second pic),
which kinda trips me off *shrugs*
Maybe the tubes got mixed up for some reason ?
IDK.. the filter needs to be on the tube coming from the tank however.

Take a closer look at the aluminium box..
if it has three ports to mount a tube (one on top and two on opposite corners)
you will find arrows that show fuel flow direction on two of the ports..
the center one surely is the pulse signal.
[EDIT]
a pic might help ;)

If you don't have three but just this single port..
it might be a breather box.. likely for the valve cover
so check if you have a port there that asks for a tube ;)

[EDIT II]
Well according to the manual you have a breather tube on the valve cover..
that however is fed to the airfilter..
and there is no fuel pump in the partslist either.. sooooo a PO addition..
[well the auto fuel cock takes the vacuum signal to open.. maybe an inbuilt pump *shrugs* maybe just a vac valve]

the manual I was looking at:

I had checked the vac lines around the carb and didn't see an open end. It had been sitting, so I took the tank off to clean it out. The fuel supply line and vac line were correct. I will have to look at the valve cover again it's hard to see because it's close to the body of the kart.

Thanks for the pic and explanation. That's kind of what I was thinking, but it isn't shown on the parts manual I've been looking at either.

 great find Karttekk.. it's not in the manual I had a look at..

I doubt it conencts to something else.. it looks like a way to cheat with CO2 emissions
(fresh air drawn into the exhaust stream hence the volumetric amount of CO2 drops)

Ok...that's exactly the part. So does this connect to something else? I don't see a port on the air filter box.

Contact the vendor with any questions.

Thanks

I find it curious that #2 looks more like a blockoff plate than a gasket. Maybe #1 doesn't do anything at all and is just there to look emissions-compliant...
