Hey no problem, I was just letting you know. Sorry if it came out wrong

Welcome to the forum

Albums and Pictures
How do I use albums?

As a member, you can create Albums of images that are linked to your public profile. Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the 'Pictures & Albums' link, and then clicking on 'Add Album'.

Each album can have a title ('Joe's Holiday to Nepal'), a description ('A bunch of photos from my recent adventure') and can be of three different types: Public, Private or Profile.

Public albums can be viewed by anyone
Private albums can only be viewed by site staff (moderators, administrators) and your Friends and Contacts (info)
Profile albums are viewable only by you. However, you can use the images to customize your public profile (info)
How do I upload pictures?

Once you've created an album you can upload images to it. Simply view the album and click on 'Upload Pictures'.

You'll have the option to give each picture a caption, and to set one image as the Album cover, which will be displayed on the public profile. To delete an album or edit the title, description or album type, click on 'Edit Album'. To delete an image, or to edit a caption or change the album cover, click on 'Edit Pictures'.

All members who have access to your album images can comment on them, in a similar way to Visitor Messages (more info). You can delete any image comments from your albums, and report inappropriate messages to moderators.

When you have uploaded a picture, you can place it in your posts by using the BB code text that is displayed below the image when you view it at full size.

That might help, oh and you dont need to start another thread, you can just post on this one

Welcome.

What you need to do is click on the box that says Go Advanced.
Next you'll look for a paperclip symbol. click on the arrow next to it. Upload from computer is what you want. Browse and select the file for the image.
Upload that, and when it's done you can close that window.
After that, just click on the paperclip itself, hit post and we'll be able to see the image.

Hopefully, you'll find that easier.

Welcome to the forum. You have a nice kart there. You have a dead axle kart. This means that the engine only drives the one wheel. A live axle kart has the engine driving both wheels through a sprocket situated on an axle.

ok ill research but i have absolutely nothing when it come to go karts but they seem sick i really wanna get into them so sorry for the nood questions in advance, but how fast do u think i can go with that engine?

It all depends on how you gear your kart. Gearing has to do with the tooth counts on your clutch as well as your axle sprockets. You generally want to have at least 6 times the amount of teeth on the axle compared to your clutch. This will generally give you a good range between torque and speed.

Do you know if you have a centrifugal clutch or a torque converter on your engine. I cannot tell from the pic because there is a black cover over where the clutch should be. Could you take that cover off and take a pic for us? We can then tell you what you have, as well as what the best gearing for you would be.

What you should also do is give us the sprocket tooth counts that you have and the diameter of your tyres. From there we can either suggest different gearing, or advise you to just use what you have.

You kart looks like a Manco Dingo to me, but I am not 100% sure. Are there any stickers, labels, stamped serial numbers etc anywhere on the kart?

I know youve worked it all out now. But in case you were still wondering why the links werent working straight up like that, even with the IMG tags. It's because you were using the file location on your computer. The forum can only access it if its on the internet or if you upload it directly.

Cool kart too

If you open up that black cover inside will either be a torque convertor or a centrifugal clutch. A torque convertor looks like two pulleys connected by a belt. A clutch is a metal drum typically with a chain coming off of it. If youve got a clutch, count the number of teeth on the clutch and then the number of teeth on your axle sprocket. Then give us the count and how big your tires diameter is. If youve got a torque convertor then youve got many gear ratios.
